There are ingredients which every household has that can be used for preparing safe cleaning products. In this article you will learn some health safe recipes for cleaning during pregnancy. Natural and Universal Cleaner
The ingredient you need are:
- Sodium carbonate (also known as washing soda) – half teaspoon
- Liquid soap which is plant-based – half teaspoon
- Borax – 2 teaspoons
- Hot water – 2 glasses
- An empty spray bottle
Mix all ingredients in the spray bottle and shake them well. Borax and washing soda are both minerals, but caustic ones. Borax is a toxic ingredient. Make sure you keep borax and washing soda far from children. If you prefer you can make this universal cleaner without them and it will be as effective.
Non-toxic Oven Cleaner
Pour a quarter cup of any liquid soap in a medium-sized bowl. To the soap pour ¾ glass of baking soda and 1/8 glass of white vinegar. Then add a couple of drops essential oils of lemon, jasmine or lavender to make your oven cleaner pleasantly scented. Stir all ingredient until a paste is formed. Clean the oven with this paste by spreading it on the inside surfaces of the appliance with a paintbrush or sponge and letting it there for a few minutes. Then, scrub the paste with a brush and rinse the surface using clean water and a cloth.
Scrubber for Tubs and Tiles
To prepare it mix 1 and 2/3 glasses of baking soda with half glass of any liquid soap you have and the same quantity water. After you make a homogeneous mixture, pour two tablespoons of white vinegar. Use this scrubber immediately to rub and wipe tiles and tubs. You can make a slightly abrasive scrubber by mixing baking soda with liquid soap that is plant-based in a ratio of your preference.

Remove stubborn stains by making a cleaning paste of water and baking soda. Use it to spread onto sinks and tubs. Let it stay for no more than 15-20 minutes. Glass and Window Cleaner
Make this cleaner by mixing equal quantity of white vinegar and water. Pour the solution into any spray bottle you have. Use it on windows, mirrors and glasses and wipe with a clean cloth. You can wipe clean the wax residue that has been left on glass surfaces from conventional cleaners by making the following solution. Mix half teaspoon of any liquid soap, 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 cup of water.
Mildew and Mould Remover
Take one spray bottle and add 10 drops of tea tree essential oil and half glass of white vinegar in it. Mix these ingredients very well. Spray the surfaces you want to clean, let the remover work for half an hour and wipe them down with a wet cloth.
