The last time we did the farm animal themed activities and it was loved by Nirvaan and I thought of doing the wild animals in the same lines.Check the Farm animal themed activities here if you haven’t checked it already.

Activity 1

Wooden wild animal puzzle

Puzzles are one of the favourite activites that we do almost everytime  little N does shelf activities. This is a wild animal puzzle and a very nice language activity as well.

Activity 2

Three piece puzzle and colouring activity

This is a three piece puzzle activity on one side and magic colouring with water on the other side.N enjoys solving the puzzle and also the magic colouring only with water keeps him occupied for a while.

Activity 3

Printables Matching

I have taken two copies of these printable and N loves matching them and also tells the sound the particular animal makes while matching. You can get these printables here

Activity 4

Figurine matching with printables

One of the most interesting activity is matching the figurine with the printables, this can be done with the prinatbles or the book but the idea is to match the real looking figurine with the images.

Activity 5

Wild animal lacing an excellent fine motor activity. This is little difficult for Little N but still I love the way overtime this is in the tray and he tries his level best to do it.

Weekend Activity

Made a jungle and fun book reading session with Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell

This time we made a jungle for our weekend activity , And Little N had a fun time with the free play and a fun book reading session with Dear Zoo where we sent back all the wild animals and kept our Puppy as pet.

Wild animals belong to the jungle and hence we have sent them back to the jungle.

These little wild animals looks so cute and attractive. This way kids recognise many new animals and also their names. Puzzles are also great and best activities for kids to remain their interest. Nice effort from you momma.

Quite an exhaustive list you have – I love the wooden toys which I had bought for my kids way earlier, they were passed on to all the kids of our family and is still in use- like 10 years and they are still used the same way
